For many groups, being in 11th place with a score of 77.3 after the first week would be considered great success. For Continuum, it's the lowest placement and score in recent memory after spending the last 8 seasons in the top 3.

At the Eastern CLASSic in Boston, the instructional staff walked out after scores were announced. However, they do not blame the students or judges. They cite issues with design team over-reaching not allowing them to teach effectively. This, on top of a record resurgence of groups meant that recruiting was lower than usual, has proven that Continuum's program this season, entitled "Downfall" has proven quite prophetic.

Despite being in 11th place, the Brass is full of veterans and the most mature section of the corps. They have stepped up in helping to teach the corps in addition to performing. Continuum corps director is assessing the situation and looking to hire new instructors ASAP.

Continuum wants to be as transparent as possible and not allow any rumors to spread as this situation unfolds.
