Our next band comes to us from the land of smiling waters, where the bands are the very best. From Nevada Mills Junior / Senior High School the Marching Mustangs! The Pride of Nevada Mills Junior/Senior High School and the Greater Mill Valley Region. A Hero's Journey examines the transformation from ordinary to extraordinary. From humble beginnings to defender of the city, our production shows what is a true hero is. Set in a city of darkness, despair, and lack of opportunity, our hero is reluctant to find his or her true calling and save the city from darkness. In the first movement we meet our hero, the despair of the city, and its primary villain looking for hope as well as find out our hero is only human. Our ballad brings food to the starving, water to the thirsting and hope to the hopeless. As our hero embarks on his journey to transform the city, he finds hope in an unlikely place, his our heart.
