Silks of The Nest

When Horns of The Nest was reinstated in 1975. Mother Bird III wanted to establish purely color guard group. Most of the color guard from Horns came over to Silks to help kick start the group. In 1982 the group was becoming a successful attraction to the world and few members returned to the Horns. Mother Bird III was on his deathbed but proud to see his creations becoming a success and later that year Mother Bird III died. To replace him was his beautiful Queen Blue Bird I, who was sworn into office over her late husbands body. Queen Blue Bird I has reinforced the musical program in the 1984 Compulsory Marching Act. This is where the Silks were left until today.
