The South Orlando High School Marching Hornets Color Guard proudly presents their season 56 Show entitled: "Persephone"

Persephone utilizes fresh, innovative arrangements, beautiul props, silks and body movements to retell the story of the beautiful daughter of the goddess Demeter, whose abduction by the god of the underworld results in the cold and death of winter, and whose return results in the rebirth of spring. It includes Mussorgsky’s “Night On Bald Mountain” and parts of “Pictures at an Exhibition” as well as Holst’s “Jupiter” (from The Planets).
