Clan Wallace was formed in 1974 by Ben Doon and Phil McCracken in order to foist the addition of archaic and rather loud woodwind instruments into the drum corps community. After Ben and Phil were purified and consequently, their quartered bodies delivered to the four corners of the Drum Corps World, Clan Wallace decided to peacefully coexist with their brethren while secretly introducing avant garde bagpipe compositions into their repertoire to thumb their proverbial noses at their oppressors. Oh yeah, and we play well, too:)
