Good news, the Bluecoats had one lead trumpet position left open, so I get to submit a video audition by the 1st. practice, practice, practice....

Ah well, I'll just audition again next year. lol

Actually might try and audition for VK. They seem like a pretty sweet group too.

@Pariah, i wish i could just audition next year, but i'm busy next summer, and that's my age out.... Just gotta make the most of this Bluecoats audition I have left

Pariah, consider Blue Devils B as well.. it might be open class, but it is a great way to get your feet into the BD organization and it could help in future BD auditions

I believe SCVC's pulling a full tour again this year. I have a friend there who's mello section leader and loves it.

So excited. I finished the video and sent it to them. He responded, inviting me to camp of course, but saying that if i do as well as I did in the video, that I will indeed be offered a lead trumpet position for the Bluecoats! That made my day

I tried out for the A corps but didn't make it in, so I am going to march with Blue Devils 'B' :)
