The Qatar Heroes percussion ensemble (Division II medalist past two seasons, has ended season 4th or higher all five seasons of existence) and the Bohemian Maidens color guard (three-time defending Division II silver medalist (argh)) have joined IIEA. Our schedule was already set, so we'll be missing a lot of the big IIEA events this season while we transition into the league.

Bohemian Maidens guard and Qatar Heroes percussion are both currently standing 9th overall in their first season in Division 1. Here's hoping they can keep it up! A Top 10 finish in D1 in my first season would please me greatly.

That was the first thing I noticed. Nice for a change of scenery! Hopefully my groups do ok, that's part of four day stretch where we play shows in Vancouver, DC, New Jersey, and Texas.
