The North Texas Band Championship just finished up and here are your top 10 bands from finals.

1st place and taking all captions was the Marching Knights with a score of 93.685, show titled "The Ring"

2nd place scoring a 86.9 was the host Red Raiders show titled "Love Story"

3rd goes to Robinson Ram Band scoring a 82.44 Show titled "Wildflowers"

4th place is handed to our DII champ North Sunnyvale Bucs with a 82.37 show included
"A Night At The Orchestra"

5th place was Edgar Allen High (DII) with a 80.585 show was titled "Story People"

In 6th place was NW Florida High with a 77.635 show "Most Wanted"

7th Place was Blue Falcon Regiment (DII) scoring a 76.99 show included "Were It So Easy"

8th place Dunkirk Murauders (DII) with a 73.415 show was titled "Wings"

9th goes to Graffiti-ini with a 70.365 (DII) show titled "A Tribute to Peaches"

10th place was Heritage Marching Band with a 70.130 show titled "Firebird"

Well another great contest with the Marching Knights repeating as Grand Champs. Next season maybe someone will come and knock them off the number 1 spot. Next season we will be hosting the NTBC in Hurst Texas home of the L.D Bell High School band since 2000 they have finished top 2 at the Texas State marching Contest in class 5A and a BOA Champion and medalist/finalist. So as the tour across North Texas of former and current cities host our next stop is home to a National Power House... Upcoming cities bidding for future hostings are Frisco, Waxahachie, Sherman, Desoto, Plano, Mckinney, Canton, Coppell, Richardson, and Flower Mound. The NTBC will listen to pitches during finals night.
