We're nearly done with our first week of competition this season. It has definitely been an interesting first few days filled with domination and a bit of parity. Let's take a look at a breakdown of the 3 Divisions.


Division I
It seems like we’re all walking around in a world owned by Perception Drum & Bugle Corps. Of the three Division I Corps who are undefeated this season (Perception, Green Glory Drum and Bugle Corps and Darkness), Perception is the one currently sitting on top. They lead by over a point and a half at this point, just a few days into the season. Their show, “Lux Aurumque”, has been a fan favorite this season and the judges love it as well. Time will tell if they can keep this pace up for the remainder of the season or if one of their competitors will catch them and turn this into a true race for the first ever FMA2.0 Division I Gold Medal.

Division II
As with their Top Ranked Division I counterparts, Band Geeks are currently undefeated this season. They’re sitting atop Division II, but not by much. Gold Sound and Infinity Sound Drum and Bugle Corps are close behind them, and the DII race looks to heat up even more with several corps close to breaking 50.

Division III
There are 2 corps currently tied at the top of Division III. The Statesmen and Forbidden Regiment are both leading the rest of Division III, despite one (Forbidden Regiment) having only performed once this season while the other (The Statesmen) has performed twice. Division III will definitely be a race to watch throughout the season.
