Coming off from a successful show at the R's Marching Fest contest, having taken the bronze medal tonight for Div. II, and performing for just shy of fifteen hundred fans, the Druids circle up at a field nearby the stadium to sing their corps song, Horkstow Grange, and talk about tonight's performance, as well as the Season thusfar.

"We got off to a late start, sure," corps director Douglas Olmstead began.

"The Druids have always been underdogs. We start low, aim high, and don't stop trying. For being several days behind other corps in our division, I'd say we're making a splash coming back into the circuit. Keep it up, ladies and gentlemen."

We caught up with music arranger and brass captionhead Nick Klaw for a more detailed look at the Druids' Season 18 show.

"Well, it's actually pretty straight forward. We take a look at all things angelic. Their strength, serenity, piety, that sort of thing. The entire show is based around that sort of dual-mood, two-sided sort of emotion. It's really a one-two punch of power and grace."

The corps will travel next to College Station, Texas to perform at the Cul-De-Sac Sound of Bugles contest hosted by the Cul-De-Sac Cadets, tomorrow night. The corps is currently sitting at 20th overall in Div. II, with a score of 64.82.
