We're back, and we're bringing it this season. Three of our groups will feature Christmas themed shows, and our Drumline will play til the World comes to crashing to end with the Mayan Calendar.

Carolina's Regiment (Drum Corps) - Winter Wonderland
The show begins with a sleigh ride through a cold winter night in the snow. As we move along the church bell calls out through the night and the Carol of the Bells is upon us. The corps closes with a powerful chorus of Winter Wonderland. Ultimately a percussive show, that will hopefully bring home best percussion along with a strong placement.

Carolina's Regiment of Winds (Marching Band) - Tis the Season
We begin with the Wizards of Winter crafting the spell that the holiday season brings as the insanity mounts. The frenzy of last minute shopping sets in as the band launches into the madness of Wish Liszt. Then as Christmas finally arrives we bring it home with a gorgeous snowfall in First Snow. Strong percussion and woodwind runs will be featured in the first two sections, and the musicality of the band will be displayed throughout. We are hoping for a strong finish this year.

Phantom's Crown (Color Guard) - The Nutcracker
The title says it all. This year the guard will perform the Nutcracker ballet. The focus of the show will be placed heavily on the movement of the guard, and the equipment use will be minimized for the show. We hope to have a strong finish.

Phantom of Carolina (Drumline) - 2012
The show begins with a build through the well known song Time for the Inception soundtrack. The song reaches its peak and the insanity sets in as the world begins to crumble. The tempo will be taken through the rough as the unit performs a rendition of a variety of pieces from the Dark Knight soundtrack, but most importantly Like Dog Chasing Cars. An epic conclusion is sure to leave everyone stunned.

We hope to have a strong comeback this year. We have four great events planned, and we have a large budget for some new staff once the season gets going. On that note, I'll see you all in the stands.
