Bluecoats may be able to make a push towards the top in the next few years, maybe... They already have the brass and percussion staff to get them there and just need to bolster the visual and guard scores. Yeah, I may be a homer since I marched there, but I could see it. They have the pieces in place, just have to push for it now. But we'll see, it's tough to crack the top with BD, Phantom, Cadets, Crown, and SCV also fighting up there as well.

Cire, I'd have to agree with you about BD, for sure. Yeah, the crowd may not always love what they do, but dang, they perform the heck out of what they have. Even last year, watching at finals, I thought they could've won if they didn't have the flat performance it seemed like they had. But then again, the Crown bandwagon was in full force there, almost took away from the performance in my opinion, standing up for every. single. chord. they hit in their show.

Pretty obviously Bluecoats, after that I'd say Boston. They took on a much more mature show last year and handled it very well. They also seem to be making some moves as an organization as well to try and move to the next level. Excited to see where they fall in 2014. If Bluecoats visual staff changes this year pay off and they keep the musical consistency they've had......I could see them winning within 5 years. Hopefully they do.

At one point I thought Academy was going to come in and do amazing in Div 1 (after their complete domination over Div 2) but they like most never rose that high.. except Crown

I know everyone was excited for Academy. I think the same expectations were there for Cap Regiment and Cascades if I remember right.
