^ the guy I beat my senior year did the same thing. Don't say you are unstoppable. :P At BD one year at the beginning of the season one of the staff asked the hornline "how many of you were drummajors at your school?" 1/4 of everyone raised their hand. "how many of you were in an honor band during school" everyone raised their hand. "see, noone here is special"

that reminds me, for county we had to do a tape audition first.. I took 12th out of 12 from my tape audition. my seating audition I took 1st. lol

thats dumb i got mad at our director for not telling us about honor bands freshman and sophmore yr then we got one that didn't have a family so we got to do them then. I hear being a high school band director and raising a family at the same time makes it a tough job

yea i know but most of the time you become married after the job comes along and a lot of people aren't aware of how difficult it can be to be a music educator and a family person learning how to balance that out is hard from what i've seen
