I cant say I have NEVER looked forward to a BD show...I often have--its whether or not it gave me what I was looking for. Winged Victory 07...UM YES to both!!! Godfather part Blue, Summer Train Blues, (One Hand One Heart again), My Spannish Heart --OMG to this day still one of my favorite shows EVER...even a few I didnt expect like Carpe Noctem, 1988 still one of my FAVORITE shows (though I know I am dating myself here). The problem being only 2 of those won! LOL

Yeah, but we all know 95 should have won.. and Godfather and Summer Train all should have won.. and 88 should have won too. I will give Cadets 98 just because while we were good, I don't think we probably should have won.

Most people that normally don't like BD loved the 98 show. lol but my favorite of all time is 94 and 95.

This was BD 94 at the Concord Pavilion. The Pavilion was a pre-season standstill we used to do and would feature all of the BD groups and SCV.

i loved 95 BD but Cavaliers--the planets...hard for me to knock..2006 i liked both Phantom and BD better than Cavies...Summertrain SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO should have won over 007---UGH...literally I think the worst win I have ever witnessed...88 classic BD..love to see that again

My main complaint about the last 10 years or so of BD shows is that the first half is amazing.. and then the second feels like the staff spent so much time on the first half they threw something together really fast for the last half and it just loses you.

The show selection this year sounds great though.. I just hope they don't butcher it and turn it all into short snippets like they have been for awhile.

That's how I feel about Bluecoats. They have great openers and closers, and the middle just seems to be thrown together.

Once they figure out how to clean up the middle they'll be golden though!

And I can't wait for that day! I'm really hoping that this is the year.

Nino Rita needs to be used more in drum corps. Incredible music. Love the "La Strada" and
"Be Italian". The rest of the source music is of course incredible as well, Gordon Goodwin doing an original comp for them is amazing, that's going to be fun as well. The theme is right up their alley, Fellini's films really broke from what traditional films did. Seems like it can be the new BD blended with some good old fashion park and blow. The Act 3 music has the potential to be hot scorching in your face goodness. Bring it BD, I'm excited about this one.
