Hello, my league FBOA won the first battle and now control the trophy. I am calling on all established marching band leagues to participate in season 41 and try to take this trophy from us. I will be hosting the event on Fri of week 4; I believe the date is March 6th. Here are the rules.. (please check them before you apply.)

Rules:

1) The number of players on each team must be equal.
2) Only medalists, finalists, and semifinalists are eligible.

**3) Groups must be accepted on a first come, first served bases unless otherwise stated**

**Note** If your league chooses its team, a message stating which groups to accept must be sent to the host or posted in the forum, or else the team will be chosen on a first come-first served bases.

4) Groups will be locked in at the time of acceptance and will be disqualified if they join another league after they are accepted.

5) The host must create an event which will allow up to 25 units to perform.

1st in each division = 30 points for its team.

We need more FBOA and BRAVO! for this event to make teams even. If MMB-LC wants to participate, we need more members from that league, too.

We currently have 2 FBOA, 3 BRAVO!, and 4 BoA.

I would like to compete for BRAVO! but i'm not sure who I'm supposed to talk to about that...

Just a thought. Can we do this for Drum Corps next season? I think it would be pretty cool

We could try it, alex, but first I'll have to get with the other leagues and determine if they want to participate. This was originally intended to be just a marching band event to set it a part from all the others.

The Epic League Trophy Heist event will go on as scheduled today. Due to a shortage of competitors, FBOA does not qualify to participate in this event. The Epic League Trophy Heist will continue in Season 42 under the direction of BOA!

BOA will be hosting the event as a Championship Invite, meaning there will be no limit on who can apply, but in order to compete, there must still be an equal number of bands from the league present.

The Epic League Trophy Heist will be hosted by me and is being held on Tues, May 26. I look forward to accepting all participating teams. See you there!

What will be the plans for this event next season? No league had enough members participating for there to be a winner.

good question.. bravo and boa did have the same amount of participants. there were 4 from both leagues. those two leagues were eligible for the trophy.. but, bravo wins.

Because marching Knights from fboa was not eligible, bravo took a 1st place in d1 and a 2nd in d1. also, bravo got a 1st and 3rd in d3. That's 105 pts total. Boa got a 1st and 3rd in d2 and a 2nd and 4th in d3, which is only 93 pts.

Bravo will host the next event.. and hopefully more leagues apply .. The turn out was not very good this season... not sure why fboa and some of the other bigger leagues do not participate in this competition. .

When I hosted it, I counted everyone's points towards the league they were apart of as their score. Even if they correct or same number of participants will join, didn't and doesn't matter as long the band league with the most points wins the rights. I think that is a fair way to do it.

When I started this event, I specifically stated each participating league must have the same amount of groups. That's a fair way to do it. I believe, goldendawn did it correctly, attempted to accept the same amount. Unfortunately, so many leagues are not participating. It's become a Boa vs Bravo competition.

also, I want to state the importance of accepting the same amount of groups per league. I founded this event with the idea of teams competing. It defeats the purpose if we make one-person teams eligible. More leagues should get on board and form a team with the same amount of people. Perhaps I'm being overly ambitious to believe that this way will work.
