I've gotten several of my students involved in this game as well as a few ex students and friends. This is a GREAT teaching tool for all of them to understand time management and caption scoring. Each of them has their own corps and are in division 3. Since I'm in Division 1, I might make it an all inclusive corps where I let each of the students be a caption head to work the Shades of New Orleans . Once we figure out each kids schedule ( like what time they have computer lab etc. ) we can set a daily schedule for when each one gets their practice time. It will also force them to work with each other on visual / GE etc. . I will reserve the rest of the time slots to work the "show" points.

If there are any other teachers out there who might want to do something like this, I'd be willing to form a seperate group so that we would all begin on the same level. it could really be fun and a great way to teach through a game.

While I'm too old to learn those new fangled phones and must sit at a computer to play, this gives me a way to have my officers on the phone during school hours. with permission

Another solution could be that we could increase the amount of energy we put into campaigns? up to 80 or 90? if it was at 90 it would take 40 hours to fill up, which would help in not wasting energy for those of us who march DCA or have day jobs, or both.
