Competition was hot in division 3 last season, as usual. Championships started on a nice, sunny Thursday as 124 talented drum corps waited their turn to show them what were made of and to really show the judges why they deserved a spot in Semifinals. While it may seem like who the top 3 corps were was the most important and intense competition in terms of making into finals, but that really wasn't the case. Only the top 50% can move on to semifinals, while the rest had to go home and wait until next season.

Our 5th place Drum Corps, under the direction of Ohmyjesus, was the Cobalt Cadets. Their show, "Between Angles and Demons," By Frank Tichelli was a great first show for them! A great reminder of the Cadets 2011. Earning a well deserved 5th place with a 74.910, welcome to FMA!
The 4th place winner, Nemesis, and their show, "Nemesis Greatest Hits," is a great veteran here at FMA, and the Drum Corps circuit. With a long history in doing phenomenal job in the drum corps circuit, they were definitely a crowd favorite. A great 75.830 show!
The bronze medal went to us over here at The Red Kingsmen, and our show, "9.11". Thanks to everybody for an amazing season!
Receiving the Silver Medal was the TSAC Vanguards and their show, "One Hundred", under the direction of Dabuttdino. This show was an amazing celebration to the national heritage's 100th year! The show had classic hits with a little twist of 2000's rock. A great crowd pleaser and a phenomenal judge pleaser, earning them a 80.615
And the gold medal, under the direction of Flash, is Flash!, and their show, "Mind Over Matter" With music from Gene Austin, Joseph Haydn, Twenty One Pilots and so much more. Flash had amazing season here in drum corps and have many more to come. With great discipline and staffing, flash earned a golden medal and great appreciation for seasons to come.
Have a great season 52 everybody! This'll probably be the only write up I do for season 51, but there will be many to look at! -Theamazing1
