Vano Redwood Warriors~
After taking bronze and almost breaking 70 with their show "JUNGLE LIFE" featuring the music of Pat Metheny, Vano HS is excited to get back into competition. The season 67 show titled "fOcUS" and is 'focussed' on simplistic design. The uniform is a white suit with black spiraling it. The show starts out with white flags with a black spiral and short handles. During most of the show the flag changes sizes and people split off to different equipment. The rifles have black around it, and the sabres have white cloth at the end of the tip. The show starts out with the vocal solo from Angels In The Architecture. It the switches to "Speeding- Faster, Faster", a fast complex hard piece that the Warriors hope to impress the judges with

Opal Mighty Pioneers-
Taking silver and jumping up almost 13 points in a season was the highlight of the year for the school. This season the Pioneers are doing a intense, fast show called "T H E T A K I N G". Although they might be a beginner band, they have a color guard rivaling Division II bands this season, with a difficulty of 10 after major growth in the color guard staff. The guard uniforms are expected to shock the crowd- a black dress, covering the face and going down to the knees. The front of their uniform is see-through, just not visible unless close to the guard member. Music and movements include "The Witching Hour" (first movement) by Randal D. Standridge, "Frozen" by Madonna, and "Medea's Dance of Vengeance" by Samuel Barber. The band only has one prop, a cage.

Pride of Washington State-
In their first year of CLASS, Washington State was very successful. Their S67 show is entitled "Tropical Excursion" and aims to take you away from your stressful life for 12 minutes. The color guard uniforms are light brown dresses with rips at the bottom, going the shin. For men it's a brown sleeveless shirt and dark brown ripped pants. The show starts out with 5 female vocalists singing "Iko Iko", slowly accelerating, inly using instruments found at home for the rhythm section. It ends the same way, but with a ritardando. The show has 12 rope hammock props, where you might find members taking a nap, or maybe a game of limbo.

Hartford Vanguard-
Only in their first season of competition, the vanguard boasted a high first season score of 61. They are performing "Challenge", a show about our reaction to life threatening events. The uniforms are a dark red, same with drum covers. Movements include
"Adrenaline Rush"- The immediate feeling. "Fight!"-When time seems to slow down. And "Pain"- When the rush wears off, we feel the damage.
