After a successful first season, with all four performance groups placing 6th at Div III finals, the Lone Star Organization is back for more.

Lone Star Crusaders - "A Tribute to an Uncommon Man": After the success of last season's "Fantasia: A Tribute to Music", and the Spartan Marching Band's successful patriotic tribute to composer Aaron Copland, the Lone Star Crusaders are back this year with their show, "A Tribute to an Uncommon Man", featuring some of Copland's greatest works, such as 'Appalachian Spring' and 'Fanfare for the Common Man'.

Spartan Marching Band - "When One Door Closes": After last season's success, taking gold at four competitions, the Spartan Marching Band is back for more. Featuring an original composition, 'Doorways', this show is based around the theme of missed opportunities, and the quote by Alexander Graham Bell, "When one door closes, another one opens. But we often look so long, and so regretfully, upon the closed door that we fail to notice the ones which have opened before us." The show is split into three movements:
Movement 1 - When One Door Closes

Movement 2 - What Door Will You Open?

Movement 3 - Opportunity Doesn't Knock, It Presents Itself When You Break Down The Door

Piney Woods Guard - "Crossing the Gap": The Piney Woods Guard is back this season with their show "Crossing the Gap", featuring "Cumberland Cross" by Carl Stronmen. This show tells the story of a family of pioneers crossing a ravine in the Appalachians known as the Cumberland Gap. The show begins very slowly and majestically, and begins to build into a high energy routine, before slowly bringing it back down into a slow, broad finish

Lone Star Crusaders Drumline - "Breathe": Lone Star Drumline returns better than ever with their show "Breathe", which focuses on being saved from feelings of hopelessness by things you're passionate about. Featuring an original composition, this is a show you won't want to miss.
