Lol why does D3 drumline 1st place have a higher score than D2 drumline 1st place

I just checked and thought Div III first as called "High Hitlers" instead of "High Hitters" and I was high-key concerned.

Yeah so I'm not getting 1st this season for drum corps. I got first tonight but that won't last tomorrow. Props to the corp that will pull ahead, it was their first season in DII and they got a clean sweep of all DII!

My drum corps has no hope of moving up placement, and my colourguard is pretty well cemented in 2nd for div. II. I'm concerned about my drumline and marching band. Drumline is first and band third in div. II, but I'm flying to Pasadena tomorrow to march in the Rose Parade. I'm not getting much rehearsal in the next week, which my drumline may be safe, but div. II marching band is so close that I may not have a hope.

Who are you marching with?

The Calgary Stampede Showband. I believe we're entry 79, and we're playing Silverado for the TV cameras. You'll know it's us because we wear cowboy hats and red cowboy boots.

That's really exciting! We had another FMA member march last year in the parade.

What a great season it was for my groups! Every group broke their record. I won my first championship, by only .08! I broke 90 for the first time.


What's everyone thinking about next season? With the huge surge of D2 to D1 groups we saw this season, I think some will fall back. It's good in some ways, but it could also create unfair gaps. I think my drumline will be one of them that fall back.

I fell victim to the post-100 point regression in color guard again. Smh, need to be more careful :(
