Petaling Jaya, Selangor (October 19, 2023) — The Petaling Jaya Sound organization is happy to announce that both of its groups, Petaling Jaya Sound Drum & Bugle Corps and Petaling Jaya Irama Drumline, will return to competition in Season 117.

The absence of the organization in recent seasons has been due to the heavy commitments of all parties involved in the organization, which include the director, staff, and members themselves. However, after a general meeting with all parties, it has been decided that Petaling Jaya Sound will once again take the field in Season 117.

Season 117 will commence in November and presumably end somewhere in December, and therefore it shall be Petaling Jaya Sound's last tour of 2023. The Petaling Jaya Sound group intends to end this on a high note, with sights set on earning their very first D1 Drum Corps medal.

The organization understands that competition has been tough in the ongoing Season 116, but this will not deter the unwavering spirits of the Petaling Jaya members. Season 117 will be a "Go Big or Go Home" season for all involved in the Petaling Jaya Sound Organization.

As for Petaling Jaya Sound's repertoire in Season 117, more will be revealed on a later date.
What can be revealed as of now is that the rights for a song from multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Beyoncé has been secured.

Petaling Jaya Sound wishes the best of luck to all groups in the current and forthcoming season.
