I was wondering how do the divisions break up at the beginning of the season.

I'm not sure that anyone but Alex knows for absolute certain, but I believe it's a mix of influence, consistency in rehearsal in the pre-season, and the previous season's scores/placements that determines which division you're placed in

All of this is relative to other groups in that same circuit, of course
