For this press release we will dive into the top 3 corps from each division at this contest. We will also look at all caption winning corps if they're not in the top 3!

In division one first place was "mnml" previously known as "Unspecified." The name drop of this corps is pretty much enough to sum up it's achievements this season. mnml so far has been dominating D1, winning every contest this season. At our contest tonight they managed to pick up the best percussion caption and best visual caption, continuing their Legacy of success!

In second place was the familiar name of the Lexington Legends. The Legends tonight finished with the best color-guard caption, and our very own Regiment best ballad award! This corps is also known for its wide spread success and very likely will finish this season with yet another medal of some sort under it's belt.

In third place was the Rebels. Yet another familiar face and former D1 champion, the Rebels have been battling for the third place position for quite a while, and it's starting to look like they'll keep it. The Rebels picked up the best overall ensemble caption, as well as the best overall general effect captions. While this wasn't a majority of captions, it's generally a good sign for the corps as they are ranking overall higher in score, just not in individual captions. The Rebels have a good chance of winning this division if they bring their other captions up to speed!

Placing in 9th place overall, but still winning the best brass caption is the Maple City Cadets! The Cadets have a history and legacy of outstanding brasslines, consistently placing highly in brass all the way up to finals night. Keep up the great work Maple City!

Placing 8th overall was Petaling Jaya Sound. While the didn't win any FMA captions, their unique show touched Lonestars directors hearts with its deep historical significance. Petaling Jaya Sound received not only the Regiment best closer award, but also the Regiment fan favorite award. Great work Petaling Jaya!

Now in division two first place is Castells. Castells swayed the judges in many ways tonight, picking up the best visual, color guard, overall ensemble, and overall general effect captions, solidifying their win over their rival corps. Castells would've placed 13th tonight amongst the division one corps, this is impressive as a great many prior D1 finalists were present at tonights compeititon, way to go Castells!

In second place was the Pentium DBC. Pentium manged to pick up the best brass and percussion captions, winning the best music of division two. Pentium also managed to win the Regiment fan favorite award, and the Regiment best closer award. "The new moon in the Old moons arms" is a favorite amongst the Lonestar directors, and was definitly attention grabbing under the performance of the powerful Pentium Brass line.

In third place was the Knoxville Knights DBC, a familar face at the Lonestar world classic, having competed at 4 of the contests we've ever held. For reference that is half of the 8 we've ever hosted! The Knoxville Knights are not only on this list because of the bronze medal they earned, but they are also this contests recipients of the Regiment best ballad award. Congrats to the Knoxville Knights!

Finally in division three first place, we have the Visayas DBC. Visayas tonight was grand as they not only swept all FMA performance captions, but they almost swept all Regiment "fan" caption awards. Visayas easily swept their division with almost an 8 point gap, also recieving the Regiment best ballad award and Regiment fan favorite award. Congratulations on a successful night and likely a successful season!

In division three 2nd place was the Steelmen DBC. While not winning any captions the Steelmen still performed very well for their division. We here at Lonestar extend a warm congratulations to them for medaling tonight.

And finally in division three third place, is the Storm Chasers. A relatively new corps the Storm Chasers took to the field with a confidence only rivaled by division one corps. Their hard work and persistence earned them a bronze medal and the Regiment best closer award. Congratulations to the Storm Chasers on a successful evening.

We here at Lonestar would like to thank all corps for their fantastic performances and support tonight. Our gracious hosts here at Taiwan also extend their gratitude for sharing the world of marching arts with their people! Best of luck! We'll see you next season!
