Happy New Year, everybody! I'm cautiously optimistic about the coming year and I wish you all well for whatever is in store!

Now that we are past halfway in the season, how is everyone feeling about their season so far?

Pretty good considering I have not participated in many a season!

We’re a couple of points below our potential across the board for my ensembles, due to oversleeping and missing rehearsals. However, we should make finals in D1 DC and I’m hoping to medal in D2 MB, CG, and Percussion!

Can't complain for a Div2 org! 7th All Divisions in Corps, Band, and Guard; 10th All Divisions in Drums.

Slightly frustrating season for the Lexington Legends. Started out with a lower score on day one, not really sure why, never have quite been able to recover. But a medal still looks likely and that’s always a good thing. Marching band looks like they’ll come up short too but it’s been a really strong season. Color guard… already has a 100. Groovy. Drum line was down by over 2.500 two weeks ago and has closed the gap to 0.360. Gold is up for grabs. Hoping to make it happen again.

Ultimately it’s hard to be upset with a season where medals look likely for all four groups. Going to make one more title push next season before likely taking Season 120 off in DC, MB, and DL. Guard will still be competing, we’re trying to tie the record for convective championships. Almost halfway there!
