Keep fighting! My B group is not competing this season. So, it will not take up any place in the top 12, at least.

Keep in mind that I totally did not ask to be div 2 sorry boo I should be stomping with the big dawgs. This game has a strange way of assigning divisions if you ask me

It is with great sorrow that The Panthers Drum and Bugle Corps announces the end of its membership in CLASS. I am thankful for the home that the league has been for the group ever since the dissolution of FAME. To be completely honest, it never truly felt like home. But I would like to thank gcurrier nonetheless for the hospitality and support over the years. I had some nice runs as of late and hopefully I represented CLASS well. I need to forge my own path.

The best days on this site were the FAME v CLASS days. The competition. The friendly rivalry. I call for that again. For any groups out there that want to unite and finally form a worthy competitor to the best damn league on this site, please message me. Maybe we can create something special. I have a ton of experience on this site and would love to build something great. But I cant do it alone.

I hope you guys dont take this the wrong way. I will forever have love for CLASS. But for the survival of this site, we need to get back to what forged so many friendships and a healthy community. Best of luck to everyone

Alex, I completely understand and support your decision to step away - not that you ever needed my blessing. I feel the same way: the best days were during the FAME vs. CLASS era. There was something special about that time - the energy, the rivalries, the sense of community. When I passed the torch, I truly believed someone would keep the league alive, and coming back to find it lifeless, it honestly was a huge disappointment. It felt like coming home to an empty house. I realize now I stayed away too long.

To be fair, and I know you weren’t placing blame, after six years of playing off and on with everything I had, I hit a wall. I was completely burnt out, and life behind the screen was demanding more from me than I could give. But even so, a part of me always hoped the league would still be standing, still buzzing with life.

Thanks for being a devoted member of both leagues, and I wish you the best in whatever happens going forward.
