Hello again! A new season is once again upon us!

How did we all fare in our final performances over the weekend? What are we hoping to accomplish this time around?

Felt quite alright with placement considering I only rehearsed for like a week total last season, hoping to stay committed the whole time this time around. Also congrats on the two 1sts and two 2nds! Very impressive, especially for a first season.

The Blue Italians hope to recapture a medal which has eluded us since Season 128 (Hints of Color) with Transcendence, we've since gone 4th (S129) 13th (S130) 5th (S131) and 5th (S132)

Central Manhattan HS hopes to make it back to medals as well, the last time they received a medal was also S128.

The Color Guard hopes to get a medal for their first time since Season 125.

The Indoor Drumline hopes to continue its success from a Bronze last season to something greater in Season 133, hopefully a Silver or Gold.

The Atomic City Legion broke 90 for the first time ever at finals, and came very close to medaling after our 1st season back in D2 since 129. This season we're hoping to break 90 again and possibly medal in D2.

I wish I were competing this time. Looking at these current rehearsal numbers, I would have a BANGING season! I want my B groups to have another shot at it before I sit them out again.

Was a great season for my two competing groups. The Lexington Legends won their 11th DI Gold, breaking a tie for third most championships. They are now just five away from being tied for second most all time. Ran Guard extended their record winning streak to 18.

Next season, the Rams Band takes the field in pursuit of a 15th DI Gold. They are already second in that category and look to extend their lead over the field. The Ram Guard is not only looking for a record extending 19th consecutive win, they are looking for a 30th total win. The only director who has 30 with a single group is gcurrier, so the Ram Guard is laser focused on Gold. Fun fact - the Ram Guard scored a 100 and won their first championship nearly 12 years ago to this day, on 14 SEP 2013.

Next next season, the Ram Percussion will return with one goal: score a 100. If they can clear that hurdle they will be only the second drumline to do so. Once they can get a 100 I’ll be pursuing the elusive 4x100, a feat only accomplished by the Unspecified groups.

Legacy DBC hopes to make a return to the top 6, looking to set a new corps score record (99 is the goal!)

Anyone else getting some strange deja vu? I feel like I should remember something about tonight, but I can't quite place what it is...

Championships are once again almost upon us! I'm really excited to see how things pan out in my first season in D2!
