To preface I love FMA this is probably my only critique.

Groups without staff shouldn't be allowed in higher divisions.

My group is in D2 with no staff. Before divisions were assigned I didn't rehearse at all, and I only scored 61 last season. If I were in D3 currently I would still be last place. It makes no sense for me to be D2. I assume the site sees money in the bank the same way as having staff. I wanted to keep competing in D3 without spending any cash or skill points to see my raw rehearsal results.

Having the option to compete for something while you fundraise in the background seems more realistic than "this is the worst group in the league but we heard they have money in the bank, promote them to a higher division!"

Well, the system also goes by influence.

Also, the system tries to even out the players, so if there aren't many active, division assignment can be a bit wonky.
