Hey everyone. It's 10/10/10, and in binary code, that comes out to the number 42. And we all know that the number 42 is the answer to life.

So I guess you should probably enjoy your day today.

Now to the standings....

DIVISION I
1. Knights Drumline - 64.375
2. The Drumming Dummers - 63.535
3. Mercury - 62.975
4. Metro Alliance - 62.930
5. SoW Sound Power - 62.600

It's been a week, and some huge changes have been made. Knights Drumline continues through their season undefeated, bumping their score up slowly but surely as they move along. We introduce a new but experience contender to the top five since last week in The Drumming Dummers, who are only .84 points back from first place. They compete tonight at Clear Cadence, and that might change the way these standings look. Coming in third is Mercury, who have moved up a spot since a week ago, overtaking Metro Alliance. However, they hold a tight .045 point lead over the steaming Alliance, so expect to see the battle for the bronze medal continue. SoW Sound Power follows up in fifth, another new contender in the top five this season. These guys are in the middle of the four-line pack that are in the 62-point threshold right now, so watch for this section of the standings (3rd through 6th place) to shift a lot in the coming weeks.

DIVISION II
1. DaBetas - 58.950
2. JonZ - 57.745
3. Purple Tornado Percussion - 56.825
4. Drums of Unspecified Identity - 56.375
5. Mad Hatters - 56.220

DaBetas still holds the first place spot over JonZ, who just can't seem to move at the pace DaBetas are. Purple Tornado Percussion, a new face to the top five this week, is moving at a steady pace, and has not competed since 10/8, so don't be blinded by the nearly one point lead JonZ holds over them. They could very easily take over second place. Drums of Unspecified Identity is another team that remains in the spot they held a week ago. It is a surprise that they haven't dropped a little, since they too have not competed since 10/8, and the Mad Hatters, the drumline pursuing them, performed just last night. A total of SEVEN lines have a score in the range of 56 points right now, so a lot could change in the course of just a few days, especially with just a .8 lead from the top of those seven lines to the bottom.

DIVISION III
1. San Francisco Elites Drumline - 56.645
2. Aquahawks - 55.780
3. Stryke - 55.760
4. Demise - 55.655
5. Diamond Rhythm - 54.350

The San Francisco Elites Drumline took away the gold medal spot from the Aquahawks in this past week, and they now extend their lead to .865 points. It may not be San Francisco rising as much as it might be the Aquahawks dropping. Not only did they lose their first place spot, but they're about to drop to the bronze with Stryke lingering behind with only .02 points separating the two lines. Demise also lurks, behind Stryke by .105 points. Diamond Rhythm is new to the top five, but holds a thin lead over North Shore Drumline with .13 points.
