Good evening one and all,

My name is Sean Smit and I will be your marching band commentator for Season 1! Some of you may already know me, but a little introduction wouldn't hurt. I graduated from Rancho Cucamonga High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Since graduating, I have worked at the school as a visual instructor. Within the past year I have also taught at Damien, Upland, and Mission Viejo High School. Some of my time I spend teaching trombone at a local middle school. I would mention the corps I march in, but I'm not done marching, yet. If you take a good 5 seconds on my profile, you'll figure it out pretty quick.

Anyway, how about this fancy new website? Taking a look at the marching band schedule we can see that most people have chosen to host their competition at the beginning of each week. If you have yet to set up your show, I highly recommend making it a Thursday show! And for those of you have already set up a show, make sure to start confirming applicants for those Week 1 shows. Let's start this Season off with a bang!

It's looking to be a good season with many new people to the website. As the week progresses you'll hear more and more from me. Good luck everyone, and expect a lengthy Week 1 wrap-up seven days from now. ;)
