The Express Invitational took place in Elkhart, IN, and the host group was Rhythm Express. Their show was entitled “Secret Agents.” Just as the first group was about to perform, there was an explosion in the ceiling and these guys in pure black garb descended through the opening and onto the tarp via ropes.
“Nobody move!” the leader shouted, “or we’ll blow up this place!”
We gasped. “No!”
“Just kidding, but we will do something bad!”
“No!”
I was left with no choice; I had to call for special help on my cell phone. With panic, I punched in the numbers and waited for an answer.
“Hello?”
“Quick, we’re being threatened by bad guys who are about to do something bad!” I whispered hurriedly. “We’re in Elkhart, Indiana. Hurry!” and then I hung up as discreetly as possible so the villains wouldn’t notice. Someone then started to shout at them
“Why are you holding us up?!”
“Because we don’t like drumline shows, and we don’t like people who like drumline shows.”
“This is pure evil!” I thought to myself.
Suddenly, I heard a noise in the vents above me; like someone sneaking about.
“Could it be?” I wondered.
Then, a secret agent-looking person crashed through the ceiling tiles and landed amongst the group of baddies.
“Oh no, it’s Secret Agent 007-and three quarters!”
“One by one, Secret Agent 007-and three quarters knocked out the gang. They came at him from all sides with their weapons, but they were no match for him. After we cleared their bodies from the floor, competition resumed.
