The Aquahawks hosted their competition “Aquahawks Pit and Battery Crash” on 11/23/10, and their show is entitled “From the Point of Origin.” Hence, this show was held in the Garden of Eden. It was a little humiliating how they made everyone wear only leaves and branches, but we all got used to it. During the Aquahawks’ performance, the deceitful serpent slithered up to me and started to tempt me.
“You know you want to march, what’s to sssssstop you from doing sssssso?”
“It’s wrong, I’m not in that group and I have no drumming talent.”
“Sure you do!” he laughed menacingly. “You know how to play quarter notessssss, don’t you?”
I pondered a little bit. “You have a point; I CAN play quarter notes. Heck, I can even play eighth notes!”
“Then go drum! Just take one of their drums and sssssstart marching!”
As I stood up to go interfere with their performance, someone else in the audience pointed me out.
“Stop him! He’s going to go interfere with their performance!”
Suddenly, I was overtaken by a mob bearing cudgels and pitchforks. After they beat me senseless, I learned to ignore that devil from now on. Listening to him can really hurt!
