Hey everyone! As we all know, the first beats were thrown down tonight, and boy did we get some tight results! Let's check out how the overall scores panned out by division.

DIVISION I
1. The Drummers Alliance - 49.88
2. The Drumming Dummers - 49.81
3. Southmore Hill Royal Drumline - 49.72
4. Mercury - 49.45
5. One Day - 49.33

All of these lines happened to be in the same competition, the biggest one of the night we discussed earlier, "THE BRUMMIE BASH". A lot of caption swapping went on, but the story of the night here was Mercury and The Drummers Alliance. Mercury took home Music & Visual Performance, while TDA won Music Ensemble and Music General Effect. Great scores from everyone, what tight competition! Congratulations on getting rid of those first show jitters!

DIVISION II
1. Red Frogs - 48.085
2. Spin Cycle Express - 48.010
3. Purple Tornado Percussion - 47.720
4. Synechdoche Mystique - 47.690
5. Golden Sticks Percussion - 47.520

Red Frogs came out on top tonight, but the drumline to watch is Spin Cycle Express, winning three of the six captions and coming out on top in their competition, "Bangin' in the Valley". Red Frogs annihilated the competition in General Effect Visual, and also won their competition at "Music by the Lake". However, we have a sleeper line! Blue Beats may be 8th place overall, with a score of 47.485, but watch out for these guys. They placed second in General Effect Visual, and even won in Visual Ensemble. Better keep an eye out, they could peak at just the right time!

DIVISION III
1. Rhythm X-press - 46.860
2. R Beat - 46.810
3. Majestix - 46.600
4. Sinisteria - 46.575
5. The Chameleons - 46.545

Rhythm X-press and R Beat were the lines of the night for this division, both winning two of the captions. However, a lot of other captions were distributed among other groups! Majestix won Visual Perfomance, and Sinisteria won Visual Ensemble. Even the 6th place Knights Drumline took General Effect Music. The Chameleons did not take home any captions, so watch out for a battle all season between them and Knights Drumline to get into the top 5!
