As you can see, Crimson Sound has been bumped down to the Open A class this was the only bump in the percussion area tonight. Tonight's drumline performances were very good from the Open A group, and the exhibition group Envision Academy. Blue Beat, although placing at 8th place, had the highest Music Performance score of the night out of all classes. I'll have to hand it to them, those flam drags and para-diddle diddles were magnificent. Host Envision's Lady Gaga inspired show really got fame, and all the little monsters went gaga. Now let's do our colorguard results.

The colorguard circuit found itself a little low this evening. 7 groups that competed tonight were bumped down a class. Our favorite show this evening was "I'm Sorry" performed by Exhale. It displayed the guards skills very well, and the song choice was perfect for this group. We expect good things to come from Exhale this season. Now its time to announce the new IIEA class!

IIEA proudly announces the addition of the Intermediate A class. It is between Novice and A, and groups will only be placed in it after competing in future seasons. This class is for groups not yet ready to make the jump to A, but beyond novice class level. As such, the scoring system has been adjusted for the new class. You can see from the scores tonight, that this season the group will be small. Classes will be reconfigured for all groups attending the IIEA championship based on their first IIEA score, and their score before championships.

Please remember, that all groups that have competed in an IIEA event are eligible for the IIEA championships. We hope to see you there! Thanks to Daveshinault for being host to our first IIEA event of the season. The next IIEA sponsored show is the [IIEA-C] Winterguard Scholastics on March 29th. That is all we have time for tonight! Hopefully we will be airing the radio show once again this season! Stay tuned for future developments.
