Crown would only be half as far behind if it wasn't for their drumline.. I didn't get to see the show, but from the recaps it looked like BD has a "bad" drum day as well.. I don't see them closing the gap

I cannot believe that the Cavaliers jumped over three points in one day. Both Spirit and Madison were more impressive.

It's taking awhile for the judges to really swallow the fact that some groups that aren't perennial contenders are better than them (Madison and Spirit) and at the big shows seem to be artificially inflating their score.

As for Crown, too bad it isn't like FMA and they could just pump all their energy into percussion ;)

The charts are wonky because it is now design based. Hard to judge something as opinion based as GE as a main caption, if you ask me. Not hard to score well with all the stupid electronics corps like Spirit and Madison are overusing. The fact that Spirit uses so much synth bass and Madison synthing their show makes me laugh at the concept of scoring these bands now a days (as they no longer sound like corps). DCI is a load of junk these days if you ask me. Marching bands sans woodwinds. Whoop.

yea.... dont think this is gonna be Crowns year. They are now basically a full two points behind BD.

A lot of it will deal with what judges are judging on each day. There has been incredible inconsistency between each judge at each shows. But yeah, this is BD's year. Again.

Anything is possible.. and Crown CAN still win.. although it's very unlikely. I think the exciting race will be the battle for 2nd-5th
