Holy Shit Vanguard just folded/Take a year off

I'm beyond bummed about Vanguard... the only corps to always make DCI finals

This has been a great S109 so far. Due to further analysis from The Panthers Music Association, The Panthers will take a few seasons off to fundraise and build influence. Corps Director Alex Morales had this to say.

"Honestly at the start of 109 as a group we were very discouraged. We just came off of the greatest season we ever had, and now with these grandfathers of the sport returning to the big stage it has been tough to accept that we are just not on that level. Not yet. But we will be. We represent the underdog. We will be back in S111."

There is another group in Miramar that is making FMA waves. The Miramar Marching Marauders are currently in first place for Division II Marching Band. They rose from nothing last season in the middle of what proved to be a highly competitive field. Quietly in Panthers fashion, the band rose the rankings and managed to push into finals after a very late start. Now that the group is consistently rehearsing for the first time, they are here to stay on top for a while. Since The Panthers will be taking a break, MMM will be filling those Godzilla sized shoes with their performance, "Medea's Meditation of Dance and Vengeance".

Sad to hear about Panthers but at the same time, looking forward to seeing what Triple M can bring to the marching band circuit!

I’ll probably be doing write-ups for the Lone Star home shows on the 2nd (except drumline, which accidentally already happened)
