No high school marching bands where I come from haha

I was in the bass line of the Lakeside Lutheran Warrior Band (small school about 40 minutes from Madison WI.) We actually marched in the Calgary stampede this past year if anyone knows what that is.

I was part of the Adair County High School Marching Band in Kentucky while in middle and high school. Currently I am a member of the Lindsey Wilson College Marching Band.

Kmarti my high school marched the Calgary stampede back in 2003. The good ole Ft Zumwalt West Silver Jaguar Brigade. We scored highest of all the USA bands that were there. And apparently one of the only groups not to swerve around horse poop on the ground.

Haha the wonderful horse poop! One of our snares slipped on a large pile of it right in front of the judges stand this past summer. Despite this we ended up taking 5th place overall which was pretty awesome knowing we were a smaller band.

Well I went to two high schools (Dad is ex military).

Went to Wando High School in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina for two years (2004-2006), and James W. Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, Virginia for two years (2006-2008).

You might know Wando because they've won eight straight 5A Championships in South Carolina and have been in BOA Grand Nationals two of the last four years. Robinson is a little less known because marching band isn't really the "thing to do" in Virginia and we have no championships process.

I've been marching with the Jordan-Elbridge Marching Eagles (New York) for 5 years now lol. Only a sophmore... Due to recruiting issues we take 7-12 graders and also a few 6th graders if they can handle it. I was one of those 6th graders. We compete in the New York State Field Band Conference. We just won a State Championship this past season in Small School 2. First time in 14 years!

I have marched one year on flute, 2 on trombone and 2 on baritone.

I marched Cypress High School Imperial Marching Brigade (I'm not a big fan of the name) from 2005 to 2007. I ended up quitting my senior year due to some circumstances

VA doesn't have a VBODA or VMEA sponsored State Championship, but there is a State Championship sponsored by USBands. And considering the best bands in state come (with the exception of Chantilly) it's basically official.

Anyways, I currently march at Bassett High School, from Bassett, VA. I've served two years on the sousaphone. We've won all six of the VA state Championships, and only losing one caption (in percussion). We've been 2nd place (in class) at a National Championship five times (twice at BOA GN, three times at USBands Nationals). In 2007, we won the music caption at USBands nationals, and in 2009 we won the Music and Guard captions at USBands Nationals.

wando!!! ive seen them because i lived in sc! pretty amazing...

ancient history but i marched 5 years with MtBlue Cougar marching band from Farmington maine. only really known in new england and not since early 90s when band was cut while i instructed. we were in our largest size which isnt big (its Maine) basically 80-150 members and only one once while i was in it got second all other years. We did march in george hw bush inaugural after some debate and the grey bowl in Canada which was their version of superbowl for college.

I play the head sax player in the Castleberry Lion Marching band in River Oaks, TX (Fort Worth, TX when we are performing at the state level.)

I am currently the Drum Major for the Greenwood High School Golden Eagle Band in Greenwood, South Carolina. I am an original saxophone player, which I marched for 2 years, and my director knew I was practicing the mellophone on the side, so he asked me to march trumpet my 3rd year, because we needed more trumpets. My band is relatively small, considering my school size (4A). We have about 45 people in our horn line, 15 in the percussion, and 22 girls in guard this year.

I marched Baritone at Muhlenberg South High School before the consolidation of North and South from 2004-2008. I played trombone for concert band.
