There were many local high schoolers that tried out for Tick City Drum and Bugle Corps in 2021. All were cut. Those high schoolers and their families were moved (totally not at gunpoint) to St. Stephen, South Carolina, and in 2022 the community built what is know known as Route 52 High School!
