Revolution
Repertoire
The show starts off as a normal bland movement of the band and percussion in straight lines and box infinities as the guard does drop spins and militaristic movements on the sides. Suddenly a trumpet blares and the band scatters spelling out "WE QUIT!" With the tubas jumping on the punctuation. They continue the show, but do untraditional formations and music pieces. Clarinets, bass clarinets and saxophones hold melody for Revolution by The Beatles and swim upstream from the rest of the band. Suddenly, they form a game of pong, and proceed to play on the field with front ensemble accompaniment, this evolves into a Pokemon battle between drum majors. The color guard then takes the field, proceeding to play fight with their weapons in a choreographed fight and performance scene. Suddenly a director appears on the field, the band immediately runs back to horn arch and proceeds to warm up as they had at the start of the show and they conclude with a combination of Change by Taylor swift and All You Need is Love by The Beatles as they form a barricade/monument for the revolution.
