Now going in my Junior year I will be the section leader for low brass. I’m excited but will be very busy and hope that it doesn’t affect my FMA activity so much.
As a Junior in the New Prairie Marching Cougars I have completed 4 seasons of marching band, 6 seasons of concert band, and 3 seasons of Jazz Band in both our upper and lower bands. I play Slide trombone, of which I own three and One valve trombone. By far Marching Band is my favorite and I am addicted to the Marching Arts. My favorite marches include; The Noble Men of Kyle, The National Emblem, and The Trombone King. For me anytime is Marching Time.
This year I will have marched in the Ohio State Marching Band Summer Clinic.
In my free time I practice different marching styles, collegiate/ol’ skool glide step and high/chair step being my favorite.
This next year I will hopefully be Cadet teaching band, then going into college for music Education
