The Big Meemaw Cadets was founded by Buhleorge Blenskawski III in 1553 as a way to keep at-risk youth off of the streets. As the third oldest drum corps in history, the corps has a long history in the marching arts. The corps premiered with their show "Meemaws Don't Drive Civics" and scored a 99.98 at finals. The corps went inactive in 1554 and reorganized with a change of management and a sale of all of the corps's buses, succesfully returning to competition in 2018.
