For the first time in a while, all of my groups made Semis!

Thank you! We truly did have a dream season. We are so fortunate to have a wonderful administration team, staff and most of all amazing members! Watch out for next season. We are going to be setting even higher goals for Epic!

sorry Bando--that really is BAD!

I was reviewing a few members who seem very inactive. What are everyone's thoughts on removing membership from CLASS? send a warning that they are being "kicked out" (Ill probably come up with friendlier way of saying it) and giving them a chance to respond or just cut and slash and have them contact me or set up a committee to review both perspective members AS WELL AS ones we think dont live up to CLASS? at either rate once they are out they would need to reapply. I am not even talking about people who arent doing well, I am talking about people who dont look like they are doing at all! When Epic when inactive, they contacted me so we held their membership, thats different, but when people just stop playing, we dont want to hold their memberships do we?

first.. you gotta define "inactive" i think... 1 season? warning.. no response... buh bye.

If they have been inactive multiple seasons... i think its safe to say they arent coming back.

inactivity meaning i havent seen any movement from them this entire season or in weeks. level, score or influence remains unchanged. how about I send a message:

Your CLASS membership is in jeopardy due to inactivity. If your corps is only inactive for the season, please let me know. If I do not hear back from you, your corps' CLASS status will change to suspended. If after a full season of inactivity I have not heard back on your intentions, you will need to reapply for CLASS Membership.

Oh man! My Color guard made finals again but my Marching Band lost it's spot for 12th by .010 of a point! Man. Tough game. Congrats on our CLASS finalist!

I think their need to be specific requirements to be in CLASS, having corps with low influence and low scores isnt going to help anyone. we shouldnt be accepting corps like cav's and "new directions" until they prove to be a successful group.

How about this... in order to be eligible for CLASS, you have to beat at least 1 CLASS member in the current season.

is that eligible to join or eligible to remain cire? the pre-for mentioned corps are ones that are currently on the list of not really active so I sent the e-mail. I had suggested before (seasons ago) that we either have some criteria or a committee...I want to balance between the elite, the active and the up and coming but sometimes finding the up and coming is a challenge...

I dunno that you can handle it that way... I mean... what about situations where someone goes off to march in a corps or goes out of town, to school or whatever reason and cant update it? Thats why I say... if they havent been active for 2+ seasons... they probably are not coming back.. if they do.. they should be welcome to re-apply for consideration and explain why they were gone...

Well I knew Epic was going to be out, so there was never a question...the bigger issue I have is trying to plan the big shows...I see we have forty members and think I need to create big shows when maybe I find out we have twenty active members and wasted the league money.... Speaking of leagues I'll set up the marching band league as soon as I have my money

Nemesis had their worst season since season two...look out for the rise back!!! BUT my guard pulled off the upset!

Apparently, there's a patch for breaking 95 that my band just barely nabbed.

Woohoo finally broke 90... AND two of my groups jumped two places on finals night, once again giving a top 3 Div 1 finish for all of my groups. Success season yet again!
