hope everyone does well tonight at semifinals for those competing!

I just wanted to offer congratulations to all of our groups this season! We have grown and it is my hope that our league continues to grow and become more competitive.

Tonight was finals night, so I would like to recognize and congratulate our finalist groups.

In division 3, we almost swept the medals. Bloo Drumline is the FMA D3 Gold Medalist, Eclipse Percussion brought home silver! Tornado DrumLine was barely edged out for bronze and came in fourth instead. Flying Cow Drumline placed 8 and Siren Indoor Ensemble came in 12th. We had 5 finalists over all, tied with ROYAL for most finalists in D3. Way to represent IDEA!

In division 2, IDEA only had one finalist, but Black Beat NZ B made their appearance count. They scored an 81.755 and were the FMA D2 Champions. You made IDEA proud with your gold medal!

We also only had 1 finalist in division 1. Unfortunately life got in the way for the Death Eaters and they were unable to rehearse at all. The ended up placing 11th.

I'm looking forward to seeing how well we compete in season 41!

You had a great season, though Kaitlyn.. Congrats. We have a very strong, competitive drum line league. We just keep getting better.

I might consider it for next season, it sounds like lots of fun, but so far ROTC has been very good to me, so I'll have to see.

Mrsromo I actually am very interested, but since I've already entered into several league events with ROTC and just need to finish this season out before a potential league change. I'll keep it in mind, I would love to join a developing league!

when will the league events be up? I'm rather concerned about it, because I don't really want to have to leave IDEA...

Not sure. I message JHawk - hopefully he will be on soon. Unfortunately like I said earlier in the thread, there's nothing I can do about the schedule since bod does not have access to making schedules. Maybe that could be something Alex could work on.

I hate that members are leaving idea though, but most of the people who have left didn't contribute to discussion or act a part of the league. No worries if you choose to leave. I've built the league up once, I can do it again.
