Repertoire
Movement I – “Launch Sequence”
Musical Style: Fast-paced and energetic with brass fanfares and percussion pushing the tempo.
Song: "To the Stars”
Opening set: Band forms a rocket shape
End with full ensemble company front “blastoff” chord
Movement II – “Floating in the Cosmos”
Musical Style: Lyrical and atmospheric — synth texture and playing with very very exaggerated dynamics.
Song: “Ad Astra” by Randall Standridge
Drill style: Flowing curves and circular motion drill to evoke orbit paths.
End set: rotating spiral.
Movement III – “Solar Storm”
Musical Style: Fast, angular, and rhythmically complex — lots of percussion.
Song: “Into the Storm”
Drill: Jagged, explosive forms
Ends abruptly with a silence, then one sustained note a aftermath of sorts.
Movement IV – “Return Home”
Musical Style: Lush ballad that builds to an epic finale.
Song: We're Coming Down to the Ground
Drill: Begins with small isolated clusters (like stars returning to view after chaos).
Final set: band reforms the rocket shape, now turned upward
