As the initial marching rhythm locks into place and abruptly cuts, a tense silence grips the crowd. The announcer’s voice cuts through the stadium speakers, laying down a bold challenge to everyone in attendance:Announcer: "Ladies and gentlemen! The talk is officially over and the main event is finally here! Direct from the 50-yard line, Southern University is about to show you exactly why they wear the crown!"On that final word, the entire ensemble unleashes a piercing, unison vocal chant: "Talk Back!" They instantly snap into a synchronized, hyper-aggressive side-to-side lean. The brass section fires off a massive, heavy harmonic blast, sending an overwhelming wave of sound crashing directly into the opponent's sideline. The trombones drive the lower register with sharp, rhythmic slide extensions, sending the home crowd's energy straight through the roof.The marching musicians execute a flawless, high-speed cross-over drill, completely clearing out the entire center grid of the field.
