Repertoire
There are 4 movements in this show.
The first movement is very loud, but at a pretty casual tempo. Don't let this fool you. The music slowly picks up as players get deeper into the piece of music. The music is a piece called "Beta" in this movement.
The second movement is very calming with lots of long and emotional tones. There is a flute solo in the middle of this movement. The music will slowly fade out into movement three.
Movement three comes back with a rock and roll style of music! The piece played here is from Savior of the Dreaming Dead and it consists of a lot of drums and high winds. In the beginning, however, there will be a clarinet solo that will lead into the rock and roll feeling that will be shown throughout this movement.
Movement four is the final movement. The tempo, music, and even color guard will get a lot slower as the movement gets quieter and softer. A flute duet will bring the show to it's end.
