Let's be real... 90% of all trombone players have similar looks and are the strangest people you will ever meet. Its not a bad thing, but... very few break the mold.

Oh and that remark about tuba players at prom? Yeah I had no problems at all. You should know for some reason I'm not even sure of Tubas have great results with flutes. All of the girls I dated in high school were flute players.

you are true... I'm a trombonist and we are definitely unique and interesting people we only let like minded into our very elite fraternity. or sorority in Strad's case.

Lol I want nothing to do with that. trombones are the best. We have been since my second season of marching band so at my school we always the most successful xD

Really our trombones were the second laziest. The only ones that were worse were the baritones. Who would have a sectional in the section leader's van.

He got caught driving down the road while the rest of the section (three people) were playing the music. That and some how they all had McDonald's when it came time for the full rehearsal.

I do have to say ours were always the biggest goofballs who thought they were extremely funny and perhaps sexy and so great but the rest of us considered them outcasts. Hmmmm

Well our tubas decided to bring back short shorts since we were told we couldn't take our shirts off because we had girls, but they were allowed to wear their shirts rolled up and short shorts.

We won the fight and got our right to go topless back. Just as long as we never wore short shorts again.

I can't go shirtless :( However I'd never where short shorts...

Believe me there were many many almost accidents and few actual ones. But our goal was to get equal treatment.

If the girls can't go shirtless either then it will never be equal treatment.
