HEY GUYS, Finishing up the Stats and am typing up the Trophy results! I've been away from a stable network connection for a while now, using my phone to access whenever I could, traveling a lot, but, anywho...

For Season 62, I hope you've packed plenty of water, hydration, sunscreen, battle armor, whatever gets you through summer's heat, because Summer... is still on, and for the, arguably, hottest month in the year in several places, our tour theme will be...

HOTSPOTS

We'll see Deserts, Cities, and many other places of interest that are considered hotspots.. If anyone has any destinations they want thrown into the mix, throw them at me! I post the schedule and get the events lined up tomorrow!

Also, CONGRATS TO OUR FINALISTS
D1 Lunaria (7th), Wildcat Winter Guard (12th)
D2 Pandemonium NZ (5th), Eklipse (10th)
D3 Galaxy Guard (4th), The Cadet Jr Indoor Color Guard (10th), Brahman Guard (11th)

NOW THEN, FOR THE NEXT SEASON, since school is back in session, mostly, we are going to be going… TO SCHOOL. Well, different schools, universities, campuses, the works. Which schools will I choose? Well… you guys will find out

*Said as he sits back and pets his white Himalayan cat while reclined in a large black office chair, while politely chuckling at his post, a calm thunder is heard amidst the rain pecking at the ceiling of his roof while our mastermind is sipping his Earl Grey tea in a dark room lit only by the fireplace with a oil portrait of the New York Skyline sitting overtop.

The League of Extraordinary Guards started off with a bang!

SUNDAY

The League event saw Lunaria, Virgo's Twirling Maidens, and, coming back into the mix, Silver Streak, representing Division 1; Galaxy Guard representing Division 2 (Moving up from Division 3); and, 7th Heaven and Steelix from Division 3.

The Day also saw LEGS Groups performing awesomely at other contests
Arch Invitational VIII, hosted by The Spirit saw, in Division 2, the Applettes win Division 2, and a former Div 3 group/medalist, Blue Dragons Guard, as well.

At Drop Fest, hosted by the Peoria Crusaders, one of our newer groups, the Rivermen Colorguard, placed 4th in Division 3.

Today!
While I'm here I'll write up today too. Put them both into one post! :)

Throwdown Showdown! hosted by Regions Winter Guard, sees Silver Streak and Galaxy Guard taking Silver in their respective divisions, and the debut of ASM Guard, also taking Silver in Division 3 at the contest!

The Applettes hosted their show, Spinning at the Apple, where they won Division 2, with Blue Dragons Guard taking Fifth. In Division 3, we see Steelix taking the Bronze and the Rivermen Colorguard as well!

KEEP IT UP EVERYONE!

P.S.
I can't promise I'll do a write up every single day, But, I'll try to do one at least once a week

Behold a Message from beyond time and space.

Mid Season Championship was hype!

Prelims Recap

Div 3
1st - 7th Heaven
2nd - Brahman Guard
3rd - Stardust Independent

Div 2
1st - Galaxy Guard
2nd - The American Flag
3rd - Blue Dragons Guard

Div 1
1st - Lunaria
2nd - Virgo’s Twirling Maidens
3rd - Silver Streak

Prelims highlights:
Opening up, newcomer CTCH Indoor, already making good impressions on our audiences with their show “anticipation”, giving us a look into what the future holds, and it’s very bright.
The crowd really loved Rivermen Colorguard’s show “Dropped”, everything that was dropped was part of the show (this is my guess anyways), and the audience got really involved in this dynamic show.
Adding onto the preliminary excitement was ASM Guard with their show “Amor Vincit Omnia”, with both beautiful imagery and poetry stunningly executed by the members.
Next on the lineup was a crowd favorite from last season, and seasons prior, I am Groot, with their show “I am Groot”. Continuing to bring energy to the floor like the three groups before them, I am Groot’s performance really brought out the Groot in everyone.
D2- Blue Dragons Guard’s show, “Far Side Virtual”, gave the audience something new to listen to as the group got into their show. Blue Dragons Guard joins Galaxy Guard as they both were in Division 3 last season, going into Division 2 this season.

Mid season Finals Review/ Recap (kinda)

8th Place - StarDust Independent – Starting off our evening was Stardust Independent, from Vancouver, WA, with their show “Only Time” featuring repertoire of the same name by Enya. Breaking 60 tonight with a score of 60.855, captivating the audience with stunning visuals and music, setting the bar for the evening's performances.

7th Place - Brahman Guard – Brahman Guard kept the energy alive with their show “D.I.E”, with such thrilling movement and use of equipment, it’s no surprise they placed ahead of the next group in the Equipment and Movement Category, and with their entrance into season 63, they, along with StarDust Independent, without a doubt, we’ll see secure a spot in both LEGS finals at IU and FMA finals for Division 3.

6th Place - The American Flag – Speaking of returns, we welcome back The American Flag to the tour after being quite a few seasons away, the Red White and Blue is there with all its major glory. Joining Division 2 no less with the show “Folding the Flag”. The General Effect Judge clearly loved the display, setting the standard for further groups to come later in the night.

5th Place - Galaxy Guard – “The One” featured various pop and love songs, as Galaxy Guard continues to climb through the ranks with every show, placing fourth tonight in movement overall, and also being less than half a point away from the next group in the other captions, really pushing the bar in Division 2.

4th Place - 7th Heaven – Hard to believe, but also not hard to believe, that our Division three groups are placing among the Division 2, and some 1 groups, in FMA, especially in the case of 7th Heaven, breaking 70 tonight, with their show “Falling Again”, had us falling for every moment of their performance, Taking 4th place by less than a point.

Bronze - Silver Streak – Taking tonight’s bronze medal with their show, “In Flight”. Their movements literally flew off the floor as their show progressed through the evening. Setting the bar for the final performances of the evening with a score of 75.215

Silver - Virgo’s Twirling Maidens (my group… Space Education basically, things about space that we learn in space, ft G. Holst, H. Zimmer, and J. Williams, think, Cavaliers… 95 or 17, only with more planets and more women, go space!)

Gold - Lunaria – and bringing home the gold, with their show “Adventures in…”, also winners of all the captions in Finals, Lunaria! Leaving the location of the Adventure open-ended opens up the “magical” door for all kinds of adventures, as we saw tonight. The judges also saw this, given that the GE score was just over a point away from a perfect 40.

These groups and more will be seem at the LEGS Championships at week five during Championship week.

Until then, click those buttons, especially the purple ones! ;)
