I'd definitely be in favor of a CLASS Championship, I left the last day on my schedule blank. Though I realize a lot groups probably didn't do that.

ok as long as someone is in I'll set up--we have more money then we know what to do with anyway (if only this were a DCI problem!) hopefully I can use this season to practice getting back into it for full on season next!

Hey guys. I just joined SWG for my guard unit (great growing league btw) and I'm on the look out for a drum league as well, preferably active, with a finals And successful like CLASS (I know, tall order). Any suggestions? Currently one looks promising but welcome to ideas... Inbox me or here

Check out the MAoMA forum Strad mentioned a bunch of names in there it is in the basic forming stages at the moment. So if you wanna help let him know! We could create a really good league!

Especially with the emergence of Carolina Royals, CLASS seems to be having a bit of a resurgence (if it ever really went away). Maybe soon we can pull off a top five or six sweep, that would be incredible!

that would be pretty awesome--I want to say one season we got up to 8 of the top 12 and swept Gold, Silver, Bronze but not the top 5 or 6! There are a few that like to play spoiler to that LOL

Compiling some CLASS data---interesting and amazing history when you think about it! CLASS has never NOT had at least one corps place (Gold, Silver or Bronze) in World Class FMA Finals and many years have swept the podium!

Interesting side note, this isn't including Perception Drum and Bugle Corps--the very first Champion who is an honorary member. They were the founder of the North-East Combine which soon after season 1, went national and became what we now know as FMA-CLASS. CLASS is a larger organization of corps beyond FMA and has been a key leader in FDCI, DCPI, VCL and FDUK. CLASS was actually founded prior to FMA back in 1996 in the former FDCI league, which the Knights (CLASS DCPI brother to Nemesis) won the last finals in the leagues history.

Sure was! And it was very very different lol FDCI was pretty much all manual process. The administrator, who I'm still friends with, did DCPI as college math And statistics project first And it evolved through 20 seasons before he had to move on.

Haha wow that is incredible! There are other active fantasy sights in addition to FMA correct?

Currently the only other one I'm aware of is DCPI which uses real DCI scores And is lots of fun, go to drum corps planet, off season starts soon. Drumlines.org had one but failed. VCL closed years ago.

I knew CLASS had a proud history but I had no idea it went back that far. Pretty cool to be a part of such a great organization!
