Carolina Royals are only sligtly less than a half point ahead of me currently. The reality of raising the non GE captions currently will lead to me staying behind for this season. However, considering that you started with slightly more than a 2 point lead from the opening show date means that I have closed a little over 1.5 points of your lead ... Next season will be interesting to see what happens ... Good Luck to you this season & hopefully you will be able to push for a top 2 placement !!!

That's the thing though. The gap on opening day shrinks as the season goes on if everyone rehearses the same. Scoring slows down as you get closer to 100. Whoever gets there faster will also slow down faster and groups behind can narrow the gap. .5 difference on the last day is not the same as .5 difference on the first day. Not even close. To put it in perspective I opened up with a multi point lead over you and I've missed only 2 hours of rehearsal all season. Even if you didn't miss any time you could never get past me with that gap.

Exactly. I can guarantee you they didn't miss much more time than I have if they've missed that at all. There's only so many points you can earn!

This was also the point of my challenge at the beginning of the season. In each of my four championship winning seasons I started around 8th and 2+ points behind the leader. That meant that there were at least 7 groups that could beat me each season if only they matched me in rehearsal time. It was time for someone to stand up and beat me. Unfortunately for me two of them (almost 3) did!

Last season was the first time I actually tried the whole "don't miss an hour of rehearsal" thing, and that was after the entire preseason, so this is my first full season of actually trying the entire time (still missed 2 hours overall).

I miss at least 300 hours each season :P
