dude--where have u been lol its been happening almost every season to whoever gets to 100 first---weve been complaining about it for like 4 seasons at least lol something needs to be changed

Oh I knew about the score drops. But I never saw a drop of about .2...only like .05 or .1

Damn. Was happy about getting up 100 faster than anyone else had ever done so too. Oh well. My drum corps looks unbeatable and capable of breaking records.

The Color Guard point reduction looks pretty standard in terms of what is causing the 100 point perfect scores being reduced down at the end of a season during Championships ... It appears that the highest Influence group that is able to reach the 100 Point mark is eventually slotted ahead of all other Color Guard groups (Even if a group is able to achieve a 100 earlier in the season) ... Maybe Alex can confirm this as being the case !!!

The answer may simply be that the pre-season application of the influence to performer effect overrides all else once Championships scoring begins ... After all, it does make sense that if the show design is equal then the performer effect value would determine the winning Color Guard (or any of the four groups for that matter if multiple groups are capable of receiving a 100 point score).

If this is true, then the previous season champions may end up having to influence up or risk the chance of being unable to win any longer !!! This could be interesting for high influence groups !!!

what will be interesting if i win after a semi-lax season I win LOL seriously maybe this needs to be the goal in guard going forward--take it easier to not lead then push at the end

Yeah I mean you would have to learn how to time your push. Make sure you don't hit 100 too soon and drop. Would make the regular season interesting. You would have to miss like an hour every other day then pick up the slack at the end of the season during the final week.

It currently looks like the Jets Color Guard should end up with the 100 point score in the end based on their Influence being greater by slightly over 3K points vs. gcurrier. This assumes that the Jets Color Guard continues to max out their rehearsing ... Time will tell !!!

CLASS members were in 8 of the top ten corps in D1 and 4 of the top ten corps in D2. Talk about efficiency. Good job everyone and once again congrats to Tullahoma.
